Professionalism and Passion Coldwell Banker
For me, real estate is more than a profession – it was the family business while I grew up. Almost by osmosis from my earliest years, I received training in both design and building renovation, as the family purchased, refurbished and sold multi-unit apartment buildings, duplexes, and single family dwellings. In my late teens, our family purchased the celebrated Lincoln Steffens house in Carmel, California. This handsome, historic home gave me a lifelong interest in architectural restorations, interior and landscape design. Today, I love to look at a home and quickly determine how to make it ready for sale or rental, or develop it to live in.
Although real estate was my family’s business, I explored other fields before deciding on this profession. For eighteen challenging years, I owned a print consulting firm, delivering on complex, time sensitive projects for such clients as Walt Disney, AT&T, Wells Fargo, Clorox, American Express and the U.S. Department of Treasury/U.S. Bureau of Engraving and Printing. One such job – for AT&T – received the Balridge National Quality Award for excellence. Like the family business I grew up in, those intricate, demanding projects in print consulting helped me prepare for real estate. Home sales and purchases can definitely be challenging undertakings. With my background, I know how to guide my clients to reach their real estate goals.

For one brought up on high standards of professionalism and dedication, joining Coldwell Banker was a natural fit. Supporting the commitment the Realtor® makes to exceptional service and to the client, Coldwell Banker provides an extraordinary network of people, state-of-the-art technology and marketing tools, all focused on your needs and goals. We want you to have a successful real estate transaction and a top-quality experience.
Your Needs, Your Goals
Your first real estate transaction can seem daunting. Or, if you’ve concluded real estate transactions before, you may prefer that some elements of future transactions be handled differently. Either way, communication is essential. In my family we have all been ardent communicators, enthusiastically discussing our real estate projects in detail at all hours. That trait, too, has carried over into my professional life. As I work with you, we’ll both be learning. Through an initial in-depth interview, you can help me understand your goals and timetable, and I’ll explain what you can expect in the transaction process.
When you’re the seller, I’ll outline the property sales process and timeline, review all documents and offer you reliable advice. I concentrate on a timely sale at the price you need, and handle details for a smooth, successful close.
When you’re the buyer, I’ll provide you with information resources on schools, community services, transportation and recreational facilities. I can also assist you through the mortgage financing process, including arrangement of loan preapproval, to strengthen your negotiating position. When needed, I can offer guidance as a seasoned home designer. Above all, I search hard for the home that fits your requirements and way of living.
First-timer or veteran, buyer or seller, I invite you to tell me about yourself and your real estate priorities. I’ll focus on helping you realize them efficiently and effectively, putting Coldwell Banker’s extraordinary network and vast marketing resources at your service.
